The word “whataboutism” was created to gaslight Trump supporters who answer criticisms of Trump by saying “what about Obama?” However, now that Joe Biden is being accused of sexual assault the same people say “what about Trump?” The narrative goes like this, President Trump has been accused of sexual misconduct or sexual assault by over 20 women and he is still president, so why would it matter that Joe Biden has been accused by only one woman?
