Today marks the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and a resolution was passed in the United Nations condemning Russia and calling for a return to the preinvasion borders. Although the resolution passed it was significant that the United States joined Russia in voting against it. This was the first time the United States voted against a resolution involving Ukraine, and it signaled a dramatic shift in policy. President Trump seems to be abandoning the Biden administration's failed strategy of trying to isolate Russia, he is embracing them. Instead of refusing to talk to Russia, Trump is negotiating.
