Liz Chaney’s defeat in the Wyoming primary by Trump-backed candidate Harriet Hageman has sealed President Trump as the leader of the Republican Party. Other candidates he endorsed made a clean sweep in Arizona a few weeks before Wyoming and his record throughout the primaries is near 90%. He hasn't been perfect, but he’s been close. He has helped retire 8 of the 10 representatives that voted to impeach him, including Cheney, and many of these wins came after the hearings into the January 6 riot at the Capitol. All of this demonstrates that President Trump has a firm grip on Republican voters, and if he runs in 2024 he is the most likely Republican nominee.
The support of President Trump has left many in amazement. They can't believe that he still maintains wide support in the Republican Party despite the Russia investigation, two impeachments, the China Virus, a primetime production of the January 6 hearings, and a 24/7 bombardment of defaming propaganda from the media calling him everything from a traitor to the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler. Many people have described his supporters as fanatics, or cultish.
Liz Cheney described this fanatic support of President Trump as a 'cult of personality', as if the fanatics who fawn over Obama are somehow different. The cult narrative to explain the phenomenon currently happening in the Republican Party is prevalent. It's the only explanation that they are left with after they have worked so hard to destroy President Trump. They have pursued his demise with such dedication, and the results in the Republican primaries have frustrated them. The only way they can make sense of it is that Trump has some cult-like spell on the party.
They are perplexed, but are not willing to give up; especially now that it looks like voters could send him back to the White House. He has become their white whale. Instead of focusing on issues and just letting voters decide who will be president, they are gearing up for more political tricks, with an even greater sense of urgency. It's like they are getting more obsessed with destroying President Trump by the day. This obsession is ironic, because while they accuse Trump supporters of being cult followers they are clearly demonstrating a cult-like obsession to destroy Trump. They are the 'Cult 45' that they accuse Trump supporters of being.
Liz Cheney is a perfect example of 'Cult 45'. She was so obsessed that she forgot who she represented. The people of Wyoming wanted her to go to Washington and work on the things that were important to them, but the only thing she was focused on was the him that was important to her; Trump! It's difficult to understand this kind of self-destructive behavior outside of some cult-like control that Trump must have over her. So far the only person Cheney has been able to destroy is herself, but even after her defeat last Tuesday she has doubled down on her obsession to destroy Trump.
Another great example of the psychosis behind 'Cult 45', and of the dangers of this cult, happened last week. Comments from author and popular podcaster, Sam Harris went viral as he exposed himself as a member of ‘Cult 45’. Harris is known as a philosopher and for his intellect. He is a devout atheist that has portrayed himself as a champion of logic and reason. He has always argued that atheists can be ethical and moral without believing in a deity, but his comments last week exposed him as a horrible example for that argument. With the same self-destructive cult-like behavior as Liz Cheney demonstrated, Harris set fire to his reputation.
Harris was the guest on another popular podcast where the topic of their conversation was American politics. Although Harris dropped a few bombs in this interview that exposed him as a complete fraud, it was his comments about Trump, Biden, and the 2020 election that went viral. He was asked about the conspiracy by his fellow cult members in the media to kill the story about Hunter Biden's laptop before the election, so that voters didn't have that information before going to the polls. He said he believed the coordinated decision by a small group of powerful people was the right thing to do, and it was justified. To prove how much his cult programing has disconnected him from reality get this, he claimed it was justified because Trump is a threat to democracy. He said, "Hunter Biden LITERALLY could have had the corpses of children in his basement. I would not have cared."
Yep! He really said that.
If that doesn't convince you of how twisted and dangerous 'Cult 45' is, perhaps the story of another cult member that went viral last week will sway you. Former CIA Director Michael Hayden actually took part in the conspiracy to censor the information about Hunter Biden's laptop before the 2020 election. Hayden was one of the "50 former intelligence officials, including 5 CIA Directors from Republican and Democratic administrations" that burned their reputations when they went on the record to say the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. Without Hyden and his fellow cult members from the Intelligence Community the conspiracy to censor the laptop never would have worked. These 50 former intelligence officials and their claim that the laptop was Russian disinformation is what legitimized censorship.
Last week Michael Hayden gave us some insight into why he felt it was okay to use his creditability as an intelligence expert to lie to the American people. One of his fellow cult members in the media tweeted, "I’ve covered extremism and violent ideologies around the world over my career. Have never come across a political force more nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible than today’s Republicans. Nothing close." Hayden, who was the Director of the CIA from 2006 to 2009 and who has been a part of national intelligence for 30 years, retweeted this ridiculous comment with the caption, "I agree. And I was the CIA Director".
The tweet is so ridiculous and detached from reality that I won't waste any time addressing the claim, but nothing demonstrates the power of cult programing like this tweet and retweet by the former CIA Director. In his intelligence career Micheal Hayden has seen movements such as al-Qaeda, ISIS, and Boko Haram. He's seen the work of Black Bloc in France and the New People's Army in the Philippines. He's seen more radical political movements in the world than most people even know exist, movements that are soaked in the blood of the innocent. However, I have no doubt that cult members like Hayden, Harris, Cheney and many others genuinely believe Trump and the Americans who support him are worse than all of them. That is the power of cult programing. It would explain why they go to such self-distributive measures to destroy Trump.
In an attempt to clarify his remarks, Sam Harris asked hypothetically if it would be okay for a group of people to conspire to stop an astroid that was hurtling towards earth? If you irrationally equate President Trump and his millions of supporters to an astroid heading toward earth, or to some of the most extreme political movements of the 21 Century and worse, then you can justify doing anything to stop it; legal, illegal, moral or immoral. You could even overlook the corpses of children. You would lie, cheat, steal, whatever it takes. This is how dangerous 'Cult 45' is. Their twisted departure from reality has led many cult members in Congress, the media, big business, the intelligence community, and many other storied institutions to sacrifice everything to stop the Make America Great Again movement.
These beliefs were shared by a group of ‘Cult 45’ members in the counterintelligence unit of the FBI. They set out to prevent Trump from becoming president the first time he ran. They lied to a judge to get a FISA warrant on a member of Trump's campaign and used it to spy on him. This was part of the bogus ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation. At the same time as they were framing Trump, these same FBI agents were conducting the ‘Midyear Exam’ investigation. This was the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information while she was Secretary of State. Clinton was Trump’s rival in that election, and these FBI agents in the counterintelligence unit worked to clear Clinton of crimes she actually committed, while framing Trump for crimes he did not commit. It was only confirmed that Trump had not committed any crimes after a special counsel investigation that lasted the first two years of his presidency, an investigation that most likely contributed to Republicans losing control of the House of Representatives in 2018.
Two of these cult members from the FBI in 2016 were fired for their roles in these investigations. Andy McCabe worked for the DOJ for 20 years and was second-in-command at the FBI. He was fired in a very public fashion by the DOJ. His self-destructive behavior nearly lost him his 20 year pension that was taken from him. He had to fight in court to win it back.
Peter Strzok was also fired for his cult-like fixation on Trump. Strzok was the lead agent on the counterintelligence investigations into Trump and Clinton in 2016. He continued to server as an investigator into Trump during the special counsel investigation. Strzok was having an affair with a FBI lawyer named Lisa Page, a fellow cult member who resigned her job in the wake of this scandal. In a string of text messages on their work phones, Strzok and Page were found to have disdain for Donald Trump. They talked openly in these text messages about working to prevent him from becoming president, and having an “insurance policy” in case he did. These messages were shared while Strzok was leading the investigations into Trump and Clinton during the 2016 election.
Both Strzok and McCabe now work as regular commentators on MSNBC and CNN where their cult mentality fits in perfectly with the programing. It's also important to note that the counterintelligence division of the FBI is currently under two internal investigations for their bias and abuse of power in the 2016 investigation into Trump; one from the inspector general and the other by the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility. Meanwhile, this same counterintelligence unit that is under active investigations for what they did to Trump in 2016, is also responsible for the current investigation into Trump that led to the raid of Mar-a-Logo two weeks ago. They are also responsible for the active investigation into Hunter Biden, the current president’s son. When I turn on the news to get information about these investigations I find Andy McCabe and Peter Strzok defending their fellow cult members in the bureau, assuring me that everything they are doing is on the up and up.
This may sound like an unbelievable spy novel, but it’s all very real. ‘Cult 45’ is one of the most dangerous cults that humanity has ever known. That is NOT hyperbole. The members of ‘Cult 45’ are not only a danger to themselves through their self-destructive obsession to destroy Trump. They are a danger to everyone. These cult members are not only willing to sacrifice themselves, but anyone who gets in the way of their obsession. This cult has penetrated the highest levels of ALL of our institutions, and they are willing to use our storied institutions to achieve their goal, even if it means destroying the credibility our institutions along with themselves. It is a ruthless cult that every sane person should unite to defeat.
