On the same day the verdict was reached in the murder trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, for killing George Floyd while attempting to take him into custody, an unarmed 26 year old California man named Mario Gonzalez lost his life while Alameda police were attempting to take him into custody.
