According2Sam #74

When Joe Biden first started using the slogan, "Build Back Better" he was quickly accused of plagiarism. Biden had been caught plagiarizing before, and he had to drop out of the 1988 election when it was learned he lifted portions of his campaign speeches from both John F. Kennedy, and then leader of the British Labour Party, Neil Kinnock. However, "Build Back Better" is a slogan currently being widely used by many world leaders, and it is less of a slogan and more of a rallying cry for a global agenda. It is terminology that is commonly used at the United Nations, and at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Joe Biden picking up on the phrase was not plagiarism. It was a signal that he was on board with the global agenda, and that when he becomes President the United States will be on board. President Trump has been one of the greatest impediments to this global agenda, and Biden was sending the message to the world that in a Biden administration those obstacles would be gone. What is this global agenda to "Build Back Better", and how is Covid-19 being used to achieve these goals? Join the conversation and get answers to these questions and more on According2Sam episode #74.
