According2Sam #73

President Trump is receiving a lot of pressure to concede the election now that the media has projected Joe Biden the winner. Those applying that pressure are hoping to put the election to bed and avoid a protracted legal dispute in court. President Trump has never been the type to cave under pressure, and he seems posed to do exactly what they fear. In fact, the President has already petitioned the United Sates Supreme Court to intervene on a ruling by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to allow ballots to be accepted after the polls closed on Election Day. Justice Samuel Alito has already made the High Court's voice heard by issuing a temporary order requiring Pennsylvania to keep the votes that came in after the election separate from the votes that made the election deadline. The Court is now determining if they will hear the case, and only 4 of the 9 Justices must agree before the case goes before them. If the Court rules in the President's favor the ballots that came in after the polls closed on Election Day will not be part of the official count, and President Trump would win Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes. This is only one scenario out of many legal challenges that the President and his surrogates will bring in the coming days. What are the other issues keeping the President from conceding, and is there a chance that he can still be reelected? Join the conversation and get answers to these questions and more on According2Sam episode #73.
