According2Sam #52

For the third time in American history the Senate is hearing arguments into the impeachment of the President of the United States, the second time in twenty-two years. Now that the House has finally transmitted the articles of impeachment to the Senate after over a month delay, there is a lot of talk about a “fair trial” in the Senate.  However, the way the impeachment proceedings started in the House of Representatives was anything but fair, and the decorum and solemnness expected in the Senate was nothing like what we saw in the House. Now they want everything to be fair, and dignified, and prestigious. Just how fair was the Republican minority treated during the impeachment proceedings in the House? How did Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler, both now House managers in the Senate proceedings comport themselves as Chairs of the two committees that oversaw the impeachment in the House? Were they fair? Join the conversation and get answers to these questions and more on According2Sam episode #52.
