Russiagate is the scandal that has rocked the United States of America for the past two and a half years. It proposes that Russia organized a multifaceted influence campaign during the 2016 election to manipulate American voters into voting for Donald Trump, and not to vote for Hillary Clinton. The scandal proposes that Vladimir Putin personally ordered the campaign and that Donald Trump conspired with Russia to get elected. It also proposes that Donald Trump would not be president today without the help from Russia. Regardless of if this is all true or not, the scandal is marked by the public outrage. However, there are new scandals simmering that will shed new light on Russiagate.
